Unexpected news, right off the bat: Dirk Deppey, he of ¡Journalista! renown, has been promoted to managing editor of The Comics Journal- which means that Dirk's invaluable weblog is going on hiatus for an as-yet-undetermined length of time.
Congrats to Dirk- while I'll miss reading his interesting links and often trenchant commentary, he's in a pretty enviable position. Hopefully his first task will be to name someone to continue ¡Journalista! in the style to which we've all become accustomed. If you're in a pinch for reviewers, don't forget all your buds here in the comics blogosphereiverse!
Who knows...I might even start buying the Journal again...
