I haven't read the books, nor I haven't seen the film, but I am becoming utterly fascinated with Persepolis. No doubt you've already seen these links via Tom and Journalista, but in case you haven't, I'd just like to pass on the word that the redoubtable M.E. Russell has a great illustrated interview as only he can do, as well as an even longer text Q & A with creator Marjane Satrapi.I think you should read it! But be warned- if you are inclined to have tender sensibilities about politics and abortion rights, you might not find it to your liking.
