Sad to see where Bob Haney, writer of a million DC books in the 60s and 70s as well as creator of JBS favorites such as Metamorpho (left), Eclipso and The Mad Mod, has passed on. When I was a kid, I used to read his Metamorpho and Teen Titans as often as I could, and as I got older, I never missed an issue of The Brave and the Bold, which he wrote with Jim Aparo on art. He had an idiosyncratic style which, sad to say, didn't age well but I'll say this- he rarely wrote a dull comics story.
Another one gone- RIP, Mr. Haney.
